1995-07-07 Steve Robinson w rsc 9 Pedro Ferradas, National Ice Rink, Cardiff, Wales - WBO. Referee: Ismael Fernandez. Not given much of a chance on paper, Ferradas (125½) proved to be a committed challenger, and if he had been able to punch a bit harder would almost certainly have gone close against a less than impressive Robinson (125½), who lacked his normal zeal. Although Robinson took almost every session, Ferradas, who was cut over his left eye in the second round, was always trying to fight back before being floored by a stiff right in the eighth and stopped 45 seconds into the ninth when staggering against the ropes with virtually nothing left in the tank.
