1995-08-19 Dariusz Michalczewski w co 5 Everardo Armenta, Ice Palace, Dusseldorf, Germany - WBO. Referee: Ismael Fernandez. Defending his title against yet another southpaw, Michalczewski (175) was in control all the way and Armenta (174½), who took several heavy shots, did well to last into the fifth round. Eventually Michalczewski picked it up, and following a couple of rights to the head and a cracking left hook to the jaw Armenta was counted out with just one second of the fifth remaining.
