After a quiet opener the champion staggered Sahaprom (118), who held up well to get back into the contest despite being put under extreme pressure time and again. By round seven Sahaprom was beginning to get on top with effective counter punching as Chuwatana (118) began to miss more and more with heavy punches. The remaining rounds saw Sahaprom continue to take the eye with quality counters as the fight swung his way.
