1995-10-21 [[Yong-Soo Choi]] w rsc 10 [[Victor Hugo Paz]], Delmi Stadium, Salta, Argentina - WBA. Referee: Uriel Aguilera. Contesting the title vacated when [[Genaro Hernandez]] was stripped, Choi (130) took control in the fifth after four rounds of little activity, when he dropped Paz (128½) with a right cross to the jaw. Although he was penalised in the fifth and eighth rounds for low blows and rabbit punching, Choi was still going well and in the ninth he knocked Paz down twice more before the latter was pulled out by the referee after 47 seconds of the tenth, when his corner intimated that could not continue.
