1995-11-08 [[Hiroshi Kawashima]] w rsc 3 [[Boy Aruan]], Ryogoku Sumo Arena, Tokyo, Japan - WBC. Referee: Carlos Padilla. Having survived a nasty moment when he was decked after the referee had called for the men to break, Kawashima (115) came back strongly, and in the third round he dropped Aruan (114½) twice. Outgunned, the slow-moving challenger was rescued by the third man on the 1.57 mark, following the second knockdown when it was obvious he would not get through the round.
