1995-12-23 [[Regilio Tuur]] w pts 12 [[Giorgio Campanella]], RAI Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam, Holland - WBO. Referee: Paul Thomas. Scorecards: 118-110, 119-109, 119-111. Despite having been stopped in two of his previous five fights, Campanella (129½) was still given a crack at the champion and he gave a game display, holding his own in several rounds after getting himself in good condition. Although the cards showed Tuur (128¾) winning all but one or two rounds, his speed and aggression proving too much for the Italian, there were no knockdowns and no close calls.
