1996-01-13 Nate Miller w rtd 4 Reinaldo Gimenez, Jai-Alai Fronton, Miami, Florida, USA - WBA. Referee: Bernie Soto. Walking into his challenger from the opening bell, Miller (188½) was happy to keep the fight at close quarters where he could drive in solid shots to the body and determine the way the contest went. Gimenez (189), who had recently been beaten by Marcelo Dominguez, was never really up to the challenge and did very little other than throw one punch at a time before retreating and covering up. Ironically, the Argentinian’s best round came in the fourth, when he connected with several heavy punches, before he retired himself at the end of the session claiming that he had nothing left in the tank.
