1996-02-06 Lonnie Bradley w rsc 2 Randy Smith, 69th Regiment Armory, Manhattan, NYC, New York, USA - WBO. Referee: Samuel Viruet. Despite having 16 wins on his record from a 20-fight career, Smith (158½) was not in the same league as the champion and he was lucky to survive the opening round after being forced to take several heavy rights to the jaw. The second round was much of the same and once Bradley (159½) found the range he dropped Smith for a count of ‘three’ after landing heavily to the body. Back on his feet, Smith was at Bradley’s mercy and after he was dropped by a solid right to the jaw the referee called it off on the 2.03 mark.
