1996-04-15 Orzubek Nazarov w co 4 Adrianus Taroreh, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan - WBA. Referee: Roberto Ramirez. Enjoying a four-inch reach advantage, the southpaw champion certainly made good use of it as he rattled in right leads which were often followed by lefts to head and body. Although Taroreh (135) initially stood his ground, by the third he was up against it and after being put down by cracking lefts to the head in that session he was saved only by the bell. Nazarov (135) was soon at work in the fourth, attacking non-stop, and towards the end of the round a burst of heavy lefts dropped Taroreh face down on the canvas where he was counted out nine seconds into the interval.
