1996-05-18 [[Felix Trinidad]] w co 5 [[Freddie Pendleton]], Mirage Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - IBF. Referee: Richard Steele. Both men came out shooting hard jabs before the champion upped the pace and began opening up with the right hand to catch Pendleton (147) more and more. Pendleton was still boxing well, however, and he came on strongly in the fourth, but in the fifth Trinidad (147) really began to let the punches go and at 1.30 of the session the former was counted out after being dropped heavily by a solid left hook to the body.
