1996-10-12 [[Giovanni Parisi]] w rsc 4 [[Sergio Rey Revilla]], Assago Indoor Arena, Milan, Italy - WBO. Referee: Samuel Viruet. Defending the title again following his scare last time out, Parisi (139½) started slowly before getting into gear in the third round, his straight lefts finding the onrushing Rey Revilla (136¾) with some ease. Having hurt the Spaniard with a solid left hook at the end of the previous session, Parisi moved up a gear in the fourth and had his man down from a left to the body for ‘four’ prior to putting him down again with a right hook to the jaw. Incredibly, the referee waved Rey Revilla on when he got up in a dazed state and only when he saw the Spaniard’s cornermen waving the towel did he stop it, the finish being timed at 2.03.
