1996-11-09 Henry Akinwande w rsc 10 Alexander Zolkin, MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - WBO. Referee: Richard Steele. Although missing more often than not with his left jab, reported to be a massive 86 inches, Akinwande (238) had too much power in his right for the southpaw Zolkin (235) and he knocked his challenger down in the fourth round before inflicting an inch-long cut over his right eye in the sixth. Zolkin, who had already been cut over the left eye in the third, was always running second best and with the cuts worsening round after round the referee halted the contest with 28 seconds remaining of the tenth.
