1996-11-09 Naseem Hamed w rsc 2 Remigio Molina, Nynex Arena, Manchester, England - WBO. Referee: Roberto Ramirez. In producing a dazzling display of skill and power, Hamed (125¾) showed he was back to his brilliant best when blasting out his challenger in early fashion. Molina (125¼) had been hurt in the first round so it was no surprise when Hamed launched into him at the start of the second, blasting him along the ropes before putting him down with a right uppercut. Up at ‘seven’, Molina, who was attacked relentlessly, was stumbling about on unsteady legs when the referee rescued him from an almost certain kayo defeat on the 2.32 mark.
