In outclassing the tough southpaw challenger, Lopez (105) once again proved he was the best man at the weight. Taking a beating every round, by the fourth Ndumo (105) had virtually lost his vision in the left eye, due to swelling, and with the champion powering forward he was rescued by the referee 55 seconds into the sixth.
