1997-03-04 Lonnie Bradley drew 12 Otis Grant, Aladdin Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - WBO. Referee: Richard Steele. Scorecards: 115-113, 113-115, 114-114. In a contest between evenly matched opponents, Bradley (160) came perilously close to losing his title. He would have done so had Grant (160), a clever southpaw, upped his work-rate. Grant was always dangerous with left counters, but even after hurting Bradley in the fourth he stood back as if to admire his work. Towards the end Grant began to land more regularly with the left, but despite being shaken up a couple of times Bradley remained the busier of the pair.
