Starting quickly, Sorjaturong (106) floored Coronel (108) with a sharp right, but instead of the challenger being overwhelmed he fought back strongly. From the third to the sixth, Sorjaturong maintained the pressure and in the seventh another right floored Coronel. Despite beating the count, the little Colombian was in no fit state to defend himself and the fight was called off 40 seconds into the session.
