1997-04-19 [[Giovanni Parisi]] w rsc 8 [[Harold Miller]], The Palalido, Milan, Italy - WBO. Referee: Mario Malanati. This was an easy defence for Parisi (138¼) and it was difficult to see how Miller (138¼) was classified as a suitable opponent for a world championship opportunity. Winning every round with some ease, despite not being able to drop the American Parisi handed out a real beating as lefts and rights found their mark with regularity and the referee could have stopped it sooner than he did. The finish when it finally came was timed at 1.45 of the eighth round.
