1997-06-28 Herbie Hide w rsc 2 Tony Tucker, Sports Village, Norwich, England - WBO. Referee: Raul Caiz. In a contest for the vacant title it was Hide (214¾), overcoming a nervous start, who made all the running and having knocked Tucker (243¼) down three times in the second round he enforced the stoppage win on the three knockdowns in a round ruling with 15 seconds of the session remaining. Having been badly beaten by Riddick Bowe, Hide showed in this fight that he had recovered from that and with added speed and power he was now a force to be reckoned with.
