1997-06-29 Pichit Chor Siriwat w pts 12 Sang-Chul Lee, Main Stadium, Ratchaburi, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Tony Weeks. Scorecards: 119-110, 118-109, 118-109. Although Chor Siriwat (108), making his first defence, won comfortably it was competitive all the way. The pattern of the fight was set early on, Lee (108) attacking with combinations, while the champion replied with left jabs and heavy rights to destroy his rival’s rhythm. Despite being docked a point in the seventh after landing a low blow, Chor Siriwat maintained the pressure with good defence and countering to run out a worthy winner.
