1997-07-19 [[Naseem Hamed]] w rsc 2 [[Juan Cabrera]], The Arena, Wembley, London, England - WBO. Referee: Lou Moret. Fighting out of a southpaw stance, the switch-hitting champion quickly got to work, belabouring Cabrera (125) with solid shots from which the Argentinian did well to remain on his feet. The second round saw more of the same as Hamed (125¾) continued where he left off and it came as no surprise when the referee rescued Cabrera, cut over the left eye, at 2.17 of the session after he had been badly wobbled by heavy left-rights.
