19 July Tim Austin w rsc 8 Mbulelo Botile, The Arena, Nashville, Tennessee, USA - IBF. Referee: Mark Nelson. Out of the ring for 17 months and suffering a broken jaw in the second round, Austin (118) appeared to have it all to do. But, displaying superior power and picking his punches well he soon got himself in contention against the fast-moving Botile (118). Knocked down in the seventh by a right hook, it was the first time the champion had ever been off his feet and in the eighth after another right dropped him heavily the referee called the fight off on the 2.20 mark.
