Line 1: Line 1:
28 March Tim Austin w rsc 2 Paul Lloyd, Ice Arena, Hull, England - IBF. Referee: Dave Parris. Coming back from a broken jaw, there was no way that Austin (117½) was going get caught cold and he laid into Lloyd (118) right from the opening bell, hurting him towards the end of the round. Floored early in the second from a right, Lloyd gamely got up, but ran into a fusillade of punches before the referee intervened on the 2.16 mark to save him from taking further punishment.
