1998-09-26 Herbie Hide w rsc 2 Willi Fischer, Sports Village, Norwich, England - WBO. Referee: Joe Cortez. Having allowed the challenger to make the early running, by the end of the opening round Hide (220) was picking his shots with precision and the end was already in sight. Not wasting much time in the second, Hide ripped into Fischer (231) and dropped him after a battery of blurring punches had got home inside the first 20 seconds. Although Fischer made it to his feet he was still dazed and down he went again. When Fischer went down for the third time the referee had seen enough and stopped the contest 64 seconds into the session with the German still on his knees.
