1999-01-09 Roy Jones w rsc 2 Ricky Frazier, Civic Centre, Pensacola, Florida, USA - WBA/WBC. Referee: Armando Garcia. In what was a terrible mismatch, the 39-year-old Frazier (174), who worked by day as a New York City policeman, immediately went on the defensive before a left-right dropped him at the end of the first round. Saved by the bell, the southpaw Frazier was soon racing around the ring to avoid punishment as Jones (175) went after him and after being floored by a left-hook-right uppercut the referee terminated the contest with one second of the second remaining. Frazier had failed to land any anything of note.
