1999-03-06 [[Will Grigsby]] w pts 12 [[Carmelo Caceres]], University Sports Pavilion, St Paul, Minnesota, USA - IBF. Referee: Denny Nelson. Scorecards: 120-107, 120-107, 119-108. Extremely fast, Grigsby (106½) boxed in eye-catching bursts, making his speed pay, despite Caceres (107) being no pushover. Occasionally rocking the challenger with a whole range of punches, Grigsby finally floored his rival in the sixth with a sharp left hook. It looked all over, but the little Filipino kept coming back for more, proving to be as game as a pebble.
