1999-03-06 Will Grigsby w pts 12 Carmelo Caceres, University Sports Pavilion, St Paul, Minnesota, USA - IBF. Referee: Denny Nelson. Scorecards: 120-107, 120-107, 119-108. Extremely fast, Grigsby (106½), who boxed in eye-catching bursts, made his speed pay, but Caceres (107) was no pushover. Occasionally rocking the challenger with a whole range of punches, Grigsby finally floored his rival in the sixth with a sharp left hook. It looked all over, but the little Filipino kept coming back for more, proving to be as game as a pebble.
