1999-05-01 Harry Simon w rsc 3 Kevin Lueshing, National Sports Centre, Crystal Palace, London, England - WBO. Referee: Lou Moret. Although the champion won the opening two rounds on the cards it was Lueshing (153) who landed the hardest punch of the fight at that stage, a left-hook counter that stiffened his opponent’s legs. Lueshing was still dangerous in the third, but having taken a few risks he was dropped by a right over the top for the mandatory count before coming back hard with the jab. Having tried to settle, after Simon (153) had floored Lueshing twice more in the session, heavy right hands doing the business, the referee called it off on the 2.08 mark.
