1999-05-29 Felix Trinidad w co 4 Hugo Pineda, Roberto Clemente Coliseum, San Juan, Puerto Rico - IBF. Referee: Roberto Ramirez. At 6’1”, Pineda (147) towered over Trinidad (147), but that was just about all he had on the champion as he boxed on the back foot, throwing punches from distance before moving away with alacrity. Having hurt Pineda just about every time he connected, Trinidad moved up a gear in the fourth and after landing heavily with punches to head and body a crunching left uppercut to the body sent the challenger down to be counted out with seven seconds of the session remaining.
