1999-08-29 Veeraphol Sahaprom w rsc 7 Joichiro Tatsuyoshi, The Dome, Osaka, Japan - WBC. Referee: Richard Steele. This one was a rematch, with Tatsuyoshi (118) looking to put the previous performance behind him to win back the title at the fourth attempt, having originally been forced to relinquish it due to eye problems. Unfortunately for him once Sahaprom (118) got going there was only going to be one winner, and from the second round onwards he assumed total domination, the jab and solid combinations being especially effective. It was thus no surprise in the seventh, with Tatsuyoshi almost out on his feet, that the referee pulled him out after 44 seconds of the session had elapsed.
