1999-11-27 Artur Grigorian w rsc 10 Wilson Galli, Hans Hall, Lubeck, Germany - WBO. Referee: Luis Pabon. Taking over from the opening bell the southpaw champion never once relaxed his grip on the contest, continually snapping out the right jab into the face of Galli (134½), an incredibly brave fighter who in return offered up overarm swings that were mainly wide of the mark. As the rounds wore on it became increasingly repetitive, with the taller Grigorian (134¾) using his rival as a punchbag as he released jabs and hooks to head and body while controlling the pace as and when he wanted. Dropped by a left hook to the ribs in the tenth, although Galli got up he was in some pain before the referee finally rescued him with 14 seconds of the session remaining.
