1999-11-27 [[Sven Ottke]] w pts 12 [[Glen Johnson]], Phillips Arena, Dusseldorf, Germany - IBF. Referee: Randy Neumann. Scorecards: 115-113, 115-113, 115-112. Showing great technique, the champion unanimously outscored the tough Johnson (166¾) in a very close fight, even though the latter was dangerous with solid blows to head and body. Although Johnson picked the pace up in the last two sessions, throwing punches almost in desperation, Ottke (168) remained cool under pressure to box his way to the final bell, but it had been a close call.
