2000-01-29 Markus Beyer w co 7 Leif Keiski, Sachsen Arena, Riesa, Germany - WBC. Referee: Jay Nady. Although Keiski (166¼) made a reasonable start he was soon under pressure in the second round and was dropped by a southpaw left as the champion began to find his way. The next two sessions saw much of the same as Beyer (167¼) pushed on and in the fourth he again floored Keiski with a solid left to the jaw. Showing he had something left, Keiski came back well to take the fifth, but after Beyer had worked him around in the seventh he was sent down and counted out on the 1.47 mark after taking a heavy left to the body.
