2000-08-20 [[Malcolm Tunacao]] drew 12 [[Celes Kobayashi]], Ryogoku Sumo Arena, Tokyo, Japan - WBC. Referee: Jay Nady. Scorecards: 115-113, 112-115, 113-113. Tunacao (111½) barely retained his title and was twice penalised for butting Kobayashi (111½) in an all-southpaw battle, which first went one way and then the other. However, not to be denied, it was Tunacao’s late surge that got him a share of the spoils.
