2001-02-03 Andy Tabanas drew 12 Fahlan Lukmingkwan, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - WBO. Referee: Tony Weeks. Scorecards: 114-114, 116-112, 113-115. Fighting for the title forfeited by Will Grigsby, neither Tabanas (108) or the southpaw Lukmingkwan (107½), now known as Fahlan Sakkriren, deserved to win the title in what was for a championship contest a tame affair. Cut over the right eye in the seventh, the Thai was unable to exploit his physical advantages enough to gain the nod, while the tiny Tabanas could not get close enough to do any real damage.
