It was a tough fight to score, but the challenger’s constant aggression eventually overcame the counter-punching Chacon (125¾) who failed to dictate and ultimately did not get on top at any given stage. According to the judges Harrison (126) lost just three rounds, but the contest was fought in such a sportsmanlike manner that it did boxing proud and certainly raised the Scot’s stock to new heights.
