A stocky and aggressive southpaw with fast hands, Narvaez (112) was on top of his challenger from the beginning and in the fifth he floored Morales (111½) with a heavy left cross. Although Morales made it to his feet and went back into the fray, Narvaez never let him off the hook and was hammering away at him him furiously before the referee stepped in with 25 seconds of the round left.
