2003-11-22 Oscar Larios w rsc 10 Napapol Kiatisakchokchai, Grand Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA - WBC. Referee: Marcos Rosales. Having allowed himself to be used as a punchbag for five rounds, with Larios (122) almost punched out, the challenger at last began to throw back and occasionally hurt the Mexican. Strangely though, Kiatisakchokchai (122) never took advantage of the situation and merely went back into his shell where he continued to take a beating. In the tenth, with Larios unleashing all manner of shots, the Thai finally succumbed and fell to the floor. That should have been it, but Kiatisakchokhai got up. With the challenger again taking a hammering and after what seemed an age, the referee finally acted and stopped the fight with 2.26 on the clock.
