2003-11-22 Oscar Larios w rsc 10 Napapol Kiatisakchokchai (Sor Rungvisai), Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, USA - WBC. Referee: Marcos Rosales. Having allowed himself to be used as a punch bag for five rounds, with Larios (122) almost punched out the challenger at last began to throw back, occasionally hurting the Mexican. Strangely though, Kiatisakchokchai (122) never took advantage of the situation, merely going back into his shell where he continued to take a beating. In the tenth, with Larios unleashing all manner of shots, the Thai finally succumbed and fell to the floor. That should have been it, but Kiatisakchokchai got up. With the challenger again taking a hammering, and after what seemed an age, the referee finally acted when stopping the fight with 2.26 on the clock.
