Putting his foot on the pedal, the champion pounced on Gamboa (108) right from the opening bell as he looked for a quick win and the latter was fortunate to last out the round. Starting the second in much the same vein, Arce (107) tore into Gamboa with straight rights to the head doing the damage and at 1.38 of the session the latter was counted out after being dropped by such a blow.
