Once again Parra (112) showed off his speed and skill to outscore a challenger, but lacked the power to take his rival out and had to settle for a points victory. Choi (112), a former junior flyweight champion, came back in the middle rounds to unsettle Parra at times, but the latter got himself going in the last three sessions to emphasise his superiority.
