2005-12-05 [[Omar Narvaez]] w rsc 11 [[Bernard Inom]], Bercy Sports Palace, Paris, France - WBO. Referee: Lou Moret. Having fought from the third round with a badly swollen left eye, the challenger showed tremendous character in the fifth when he somehow kept going for at least two minutes after a southpaw right hook had him on ‘Queer Street’. How Inom (110¾) got through that was amazing, and he even won the sixth as Narvaez (111½) tried to get his wind back. Although some of the rounds were close and both men had fast hands, it was Narvaez who caught the eye with the more telling punches, and he turned up the heat in the tenth to put Inom down with a right hook. After making it to the bell Inom was quickly set upon in the 11th without respite, and at 1.43 of the session it was over as the referee finally pulled the brave man from Reunion out of the contest.
