Junior Bantamweight (Super Flyweight) Division

112lbs to 115lbs

1988-01-26 Kaosai Galaxy w pts 12 Kongtoranee Payakarun, Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand - WBA. Referee: Ken Morita. Scorecards: 116-114, 116-113, 118-110. Having terrible problems in making the weight, Galaxy (115), knocked down early on. Despite not being at his best Galaxy still had too much for Payakarun (114½) and pressed the challenger throughout, being just too strong and aggressive for him. Payakarun showed up well, but was unable to assert himself to any great degree.
