Unfortunately a detached retina brought Foxworth's short, but sensational, career to a premature ending after the Morrow victory. Morrow took a terrible beating in the third round. The bout was stopped in the fourth round after Leoanrd, stretched across the middle strand of the ring ropes, slid to his knees to take an eight-count. Morrow suffered a damaged eye in the first round and it had swollen shut by the fourth.
