Hill would die suddenly late that September, one month before his scheduled world title bout with Frankie Genaro at the Royal Albert Hall. The newspapers reported that he had contracted a cold September 23, but had improved so well that his physician permitted him to go outdoors. He then suffered a broken blood vessel in his lung and died at 6:00 a.m. that Friday.

Belanger floored Jarvis in the first round and was knocked down himself in the 11th. (Reported as being Toronto's first world title bout in 20 years. The Globe) Meanwhile, the NYSAC recognized Izzy Schwartz as the title-holder; Schwartz had informed authorities he would meet the winner of this bout to settle the matter of supremacy.

Goldstein won 7 rounds-losing 2 with 1 even-he had little trouble in outpointing Jarvis. In the second round a left hook to the jaw of Jarvis had him woozy at the bell. Report from Boston Globe.
