The Los Angeles Times July 21, 1906 reported Cyclone Thompson of Chicago battled Montana Kid on July 20, 1906. Either one of these two was not the real Cyclone Johnny Thompson or the bout reported in the Racine Daily Journal actually occurred previous to this date.
