Chestnut St. Arena, Reno, Nevada, USALDQ?6
"Jimmy Flinker was willing to continue against Cowboy Owens in spite of the many foul blows he received, but the referee put a stop to it. Jimmy was fouled half a dozen times before the referee said enough, but the decision didn't put a halt to the fisticuffs. After their bout, Owens smacked Flinker one while they argued in the aisle and Flinker sailed over into the lap of Sheriff Trathen, an unfortunate circumstance for Owens, because the sheriff promptly sent the belligerent battler to jail. They didn't keep him long at the jail, however." (Reno Evening Gazette)
