1926-03-26Shuffle Callahan13-5-1
East Chicago, Indiana, USALKO110
time: 2:50
From the Chicago Tribune (Bob Soderman). This was a battle between two punchers, both with brittle chins. "Callahan, with his hands cocked at his sides, walked into Barrett in the same unconcerned manner as he has in other fights. His jaw was wide open for a right hook or wing, but Barrett never once let go (either). Bobby knew that Callahan was a counter puncher and respected the power that Callahan carried in both hands..There was some infighting and Barrett dropped his guard to protect his midsection. Shuffle immediately shot across a left hook and then..a right cross to the jaw and Barrett was counted out."
