"Galvani..received the verdict..The judges' decision was so illogical that two days after the bout took place, the Cuban Boxing Commission ruled out the verdict and announced the bout a draw." (The Ring, May 1947, page 63) Thus the CBC overruled the judges that it had appointed and replaced their decision with an arbitrary decision of their own.
