  • Based in Montreal, QC, Canada, the Canadian Arena Company managed the Montreal Forum from 1935 to ?. It usually presented ice hockey shows. It got into promoting boxing at the Forum; its inaugural card on August 7, 1935 featured Sixto Escobar vs. Pete Sanstol for the World Bantamweight Title.
  • Its first manager and matchmaker was Tommy Gorman. (He had been given a matchmaker's license June 27, 1935, per Montreal's The Gazette.) Gorman was assisted by Thomas Arnold.
