Félix Savón

Savon carried on the Cuban tradition of heavyweight dominance in the amateurs, winning three consecutive Olympic Gold Medals, capturing gold at six consecutive World Championships, as well as a silver at the 1999 World Championships. In Cuba, Savon would win the Cuban National Championship fourteen consecutive times, from 1985 to 1998.
